Probably 90% of the beaches are open for detecting, state parks are off limits unless they are on the beach and then you check with the local rangers, national recreations areas are off limits and the airforce and cape canaveral is off limits....... Most city and couty parks are okay, just check your local laws, dont call to ask, research them yourself....

Welcome!!...what part of florida, i know that in marion county you need a permit( can be printed from online) its also free., to detect local parks.
