Gorgeous day, so I snuck out of work at lunch to do some hunting. I mixed it up today, and visited a spot that I haven't done in a while. Boy am I glad that I did!

First hit of the day was a 1906 Indian Head. Honestly, I would have been happy with that. I love the Indians!

Next up was a complete surprise. I was digging a 12:30 at 4". I figured that it was another Indian. Nope. Gold ring! 1926 class ring. Says BS on the other side. Sadly, the stone was missing. I sifted the dirt for a while, but couldn't find it! IT may not have been there to start. When I pulled the ring out, there was dirt filling the hole. Anyway, 6 g of 14K goodness.

On my way out, I hit my favorite signal. 12:47 at 6". I got a pick of the "action shot" finding it amongst the muck and also a shot of it cleaned off. Nice 1904 Barber quarter. Sweet!

I hit a local baseball field later in the day, and picked up two silver dimes. A Roosevelt and a Merc.

Nice assortment for the day!

Kevin

Hate to think what you would find if you took a longer lunch break! Great finds.

That would make for one awesome day out for me since I'm still looking for that first barber quarter. Thanks for taking the time to share with us all and... Grats to ya!
