Nice little 10K gold ring

I detected a lake beach today and before I could take a full swing, I found this sweet 10K gold ring. I was at my new spot for literally five seconds! Now that's a great way to start off a four hour hunt. Unfortunately all I was able to find the rest of the time were modern coins worth $1.54. Not sure what type of stone is set in the ring. It is quite translucent but has a very light green almost yellow tint to it.

Sweet little ring, congrats.
How many times this has happened like that, first target then inch.

I think of a bluish hue for aquamarine. I'm not seeing that but more of a yellowish color. Perhaps it's a topaz stone? I will take it in to a jeweler one of these days and I'm sure they'll be able to tell me what it is right away.
