i was out for a few hours across from a old church built in 1799 after about 2 hours and alot of junk this was screamming at me it was the best signal so far i didnt think it was a coin it seemed to big but to my surprize 3 gems...ty for looking

Now that's a a very cool find, I haven't seen a change purse look like this one before have you got a picture of the bottom and side because it looks like it's solid copper or brass. Liking the picture of the coin showing its self on the edge.

That is an awesome find with the coins inside. I always check for hidden things in any kind of container or can I dig, haven't had the luck yet...but who knows, maybe someday.

Wow that was a great surprise. Those are 3 nice keepers you pulled. It's amazing what things you dig may have hidden treasure. My only experience are 4 wheat pennies in a rusty compact.
