I just plowed through two boxes of halves today while my son was sleeping. No silver, but I somehow managed to pull this coin out even though I mostly only check for silver. It appears to be a 1982 No FG. There was some dirt over the FG spot, but I could tell the FG was either mostly not there or not there at all before wiping it down gently. I'm trying my hardest to see any semblance of the FG, but I can't. Is this really it?

I think I see a hint of the "F" which means it is not a true "no fg" half dollar, sorry.

look at it with a loupe if there's no fg at all your good but if you think you see the slightest trace it's a no go. 20130610_DSC02159.jpg

Looks like the real deal to me! Here's one I found a while back for comparison.
Those are fun to find. A little bit tougher than the '74d dbl dies. Cool, man.
