Not as good as a DREAM BOX, but close enough in my eyes.

Had no dimes or cent boxes to check this weekend because of work hours. But on Sunday afternoon, an elderly older gentleman (92) that I've known many years calls me and asks if he could come over, something he has to show me. He was there in 5-min, with a large over stuffed plastic expandable woman's coupon saver pouch (accordion type). In it were about 40-45 separate envelopes of world country coins( with anywhere from 5 to 20 coins each). He says, I want you to take these and keep them, don't know what to do with them. Also he had two small jewelry boxes (2x2) filled with various older U S coins, and said with the same deal, TAKE THEM unless you see something worth thousands, then we split 50/50. After leaving, I then sorted out the U S coins by demon (see pic list ) with all the coins showing in the other two pics. I tried to pull the better (on separate pics) of the coins separately Obv & Rev. Of all the coins there, the one that strikes me the most is the 1914-D in OMG Fine+ condition. This 14-D is a key coin in the Lincoln series, and in all the years (since the 60's) searching & collecting, this is my FIRST of the four major key Lincoln coins that I DONT HAVE. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it, and he GAVE THEM ALL TO ME. Enjoy the pics, and tell me if this would be considered a mixed dream box, ( after all they were in a small jewelry BOX, weren't they?). Also are two large token/commem that I need ID & value, showing in relation to the .50cent half for size comparison.

I guess I had some coins to sort & check after all. Will need help on all those foreign OLD coins (I'll start by making a list of countries on a later post). Tks for reading, DozerD.

Looks like a nice score. Hope the foreign coins have some value. I'm not a coin guy so have no idea the value of the U.S. coins but I'd think it'd be enough to buy lunch for your benefactor. Good luck.
