I picked up this unusual watch at the flea market this weekend for $25. It has a good Swiss movement but all the writing seemed to be Scandinavian. A quick check and sure enough it was Swedish. I serviced it last night and found it had a broken mainspring and luckily I had a donor AS1897 movement with a good one. I actually had four donor movements and three of them had broken mainsprings so this must be a problem for this caliber of movement. A new crystal and NATO strap and it’s looking great. Really glad to have this 1940s military style watch to the collection. IMG_7191.jpg

There's a watch from that ww2 era at the local flea market for $15.00. It has the name Jenco on it.

I really like it myself! You did a wonderful job of restoring it. WWII watches are really hard to find, and they are expensive. Great score!

You should jump on it that’s not a bad price at all.

Yeah I probably should. I hadn't looked at what they sell for until you posted the one you have and it looks like it could go for more than $15.
