Just noticed that Iran has a monster rat problem. They would be wise to start hunting them with air rifles. There are (estimated) 25 million huge rats in Tehran and only 12 million people. If ever person popped two rats their problem would be nearly solved. At least the rat problem, that is.

If you Google "Rats in Tehran" you will find a photo of an example 11 pounder. A Yahoo article about the Iranian rat problem has some really comical reader comments.

Yea, but wouldn't that exhaust there food supply. Probably plenty of pigs running around there also, but they are in free. Frank
