Hello All. Hunted two old house sites yesterday and today for these digs. Both houses are long gone and are said to date from the 1940's and 1900's. No silver found but I got a nice mix of stuff.

My favorite find is the half dollar sized brass Nehi Token, not sure of its date, I did not see much about it on a quick Google image search but I hope to find it tomorrow. Also got a South African coin, somebody holed it right thru the date...aarrrgghh. I think it is 1967 or 1937...I will have to research this too.

Thanks for the view and good luck. C9

I like that Nehi token. Their grape & orange flavors were unbeatable.

That's the thing about hunting "old" sites in FL, we don't have to worry about Civ and Rev and Colonial, we get to wonder why there are 5 buckles between 2 sites, or why someone would hole a modern foreign coin.

this place I beeped the other day had 20 .50 caliber bullets throughout the lawn... defies all logic

Hello wheatfinder13. Yes I have found pieces of spoons like this one several times but never a complete one. It is made out of aluminum...the wife says it's kid's toy or a sugar spoon.

Thanks for the reply and good luck. C9
