One good looking preform

If I had to find one I’d like to have a dozen just like this one. It was a creek find like most of mine are. Sometimes the creek really puts a good stain on them and well sometimes they are plain ugly. So once in a while I will soak the ugly ones and a beauty will pop.
I only do it on the ones that are already coated so heavy you can’t see them for what they are. This one was stained a dark chocolate brown and didn’t show any color. Just look at it now. Not sure what the material is but I like it.
