I returned yesterday to "Chestnut Grove." This spot gave up 3 silvers on Sunday and I was hoping for a repeat performance. I gridded of the grove and commenced to work it East to West, and then North to South. I gave it a good 6 hours but I just couldn't find me a screamer. I got a real kick out of rescuing this bottle opener from the soil grave she was buried in. I think it is a circa 1950's or 60's novelty. I can see that it was once brass plated.

My finds for the day were: 14q, 36d, 5n, & 41 memorials

Love that bottle opener  I can see you gave that site plenty of opportunity to relinquish some silver, but to no avail. Maybe next time. :dontknow:

Please remove the tape. You covered the only parts that I am interested in!

Well done ATW!

You are most welcome Skip,, I have been a member of more than one G-rated forum and we all know what is and is not acceptable.
I appreciate the fact that you modesty'd her up. Well done. Seriously. I look at T-Net all the time with my kids, and I would not have been thrilled to see our Lady of the Bottlecaps that you uncovered, show up...er... uncovered. :)

Thanks!
Skippy

Good haul though.
Had fun right?

I would try it right after the Spring thaw next year...that same area...and just see.

Happens to the best of us. Sometimes you just can't pull any silver. Cool bottle opener.

Looks like a great hunt! I would love to drift out into the hills around here for that long. Love the opener! Hope you find gold before silver!

Congratz on a fun hunt! I love the bottle opener. It appears you put in your due diligence on that hunt. Maybe next time!
