Part of a hoe maybe?

This was an early find, before I really had an eye for tools vs flakes and cores. Originally I thought it was just a big hunk of flint. Been thinking about it lately, my best guess is a hoe. It would be a monster knife, and seems too thin to be an axe. I was curious what you guys thought. I can tell it heat treated Florence chert probably from the flint hills.

I keep pieces like that when I find them but for me there isn’t enough for me to say what it might of been. Before it broke.

It’s the size that has me eliminating a lot of possibilities, arrowhead, dart… the thinness makes me think not an axe… just been curious what it might have been. Here’s some other pictures for scale.

Tough call, definitely was a blade or some type of tool. I know that doesn't help much.

It is sure some nice material and bet they thought so to. To bad they broke it.

When I think of hoes I think thick with a bit on it.

Thanks for the replies I know it’s not much to go on, this is the type of hoe I was thinking. now that I posted and have been really looking I think it’s possible that it just looks like it would be huge the way it broke. Could be something similar to a north blade.

Oh and a little correction, it is Florence-a which is actually from Oklahoma, you can see that same fingerprint pattern near the bottom on mine
