nice batch, keep plugging away, you'll score a key date soon enough, it's a fun hobby, I personally love searching cents, was thinking about buying 2 boxes myself for a rainy day. I have thought about saving copper, but never did.
I was sorting all copper out, but when filled a full box, stopped. Now I only hunt for old stuff, Wheat pennies, errors (die shift, die rotation, clipped planchet, blank planchet) and foreign. It is possible to find a key date coin, but it usually takes a couple of boxes, before you find one in a good shape.
10 wheaties and 3 canadians from the 50's...and $6.04 in copper pennies. but 4 boxes in two weeks and I sealed my firsy $25 box of copper !!!! car problems and work so haven t ordered halves this week. going to my honey hole at end of week( 54 40% in two weeks ) going to get some dimes and pennies tomorrow.
what is the story of the 2006 canada penny? My canada coin book says it is worth $200 if it is steal and good condition. Why would canada make zinc pennies after they changed to steal?
