I found a collection of these sites, yes most of them are marked(1800s), but they are not guarded. Unfortunately, many of them have been excavated...I was going to fort francis de pupa, but found in the 50's it had been dug. And to my satisfaction they did not find any spanish silver, so i really didnt miss out on that one.. .However, you never know there could be something them archeologists left behind!!
