Possibly my best two day hunt ever!!! With two firsts!!!

Been hunting a nearby street tear out over the last two days and I have to say they have produced the most goodies since I started hunting a year ago! Got to hunt with my buddy PlzBSeated tonight which is always a good time! And, just like the You Tube videos I've seen over and over again, PBS let me do the honor of a reveal...AWESOME!!! Must do more! Anyway, enough with the formalities. I had two firsts during my hunt: my first and second Barber dime and my first V nickel! Uber excited about that! True! But you can't imagine the IRON TRASH we have to go through. By the end of the night my pouch is hangin' around my knees and it ain't because of the goodies!

That is pretty crazy that you have found 3 shield nickels before the V. I have found more than 20 V nickels over the years but only 1 shield! Congrats on the firsts though ;-)

I would assume PBS would agree, this year out, just recently, has produced big time! Definitely makes it fun!

That is one nice bunch of finds. Great looking Barbers and shield nickel. Great Indians including a one year only type coin with the 1859. Really an exceptional group. That would make anyone's day.
