Not much rain here either. It sprinkled here a few days ago and a light rain right now but not enough to barely wet the ground.

I have no experience with quartz if I ever hunted in such an area think I’d be picking up all kinds of quartz garbage, probably take me forever to get anywhere.

It can be a challenge especially if there is debitage scattered around. I try to look for pieces with no cortex which usually means it’s been removed and of course thin. Some quartz is terrible in quality but I think this one is a nice quality and displays the working edge very well. Sometimes it can be difficult to get good pictures of quartz.
