Rain all day Saturday I new if I could get out Sunday it wouldn't be good minelab don't like saturated soil it works best in dry parched ground every time I dug a hole it fills up with water and then sticking your hand in the hole to retrieve your find gloves soaking wet hand freezing cold but I did manage some finds got another buff nickel an old button I think my best find was this farm animal I got the horse this time and a pager I found in the grass witch I thought was funny didn't even think they made them anymore .... They still use them around here at some restaurants. They hand you one and when it goes off your table is ready.

Nice finds! Congrats on getting out there and hunting! Beeper working?

I know what you mean, I hunted a tot lot today every hole I dug had ground water seeping into it. So I was scooping out the target with my digger. I had to put on two jackets and my winter gloves, high of 35 with a 25 mph stiff breeze! Had to keep my sit down breaks short, too cold to sit long!
My finds weren't much but I was happy to be able to MD!

I'm sure some agencies still use pagers but seeing this park has high drug trafficking I'm assuming it belonged to a drug dealer quick throw away..

You're hardcore. Too cold for me today. I did get a V and a Buff from Beverwyck Thursday. Also a nice large sterling religious medal. Nickel count now at 87.

Nice finds PP. I like the horse... lead I would presume.

We hunted in the cold drizzle on Friday, it was muddy. Saturday was just too wet for me. You are a braver soul than I. GL&HH!
