Another gorgeous day here.. little misty first thing, but then the sun came out, and we were off… back the the same fields as last week… as these are some of the few fields that don’t have the weekend pheasant shooters roaming around in! 🙄 xx

Now grab a brew and get comfy as we got so many things! No coins today…. but lots of ‘no ideas’ 🫤… first off.. a no idea piece but def my fav back is exactly the same as the front.. then a little brooch, huge crotal bell, alas it’s been cut in half, it’s 2 inches from top to bottom, def my biggest ever, then another not sure… possible a key hole cover? Then a coin weight with crown… then another (we got 1 each) then some lead bits, buckles, bits of buckles, thimble and thimble top, more pieces of bell metal plate and end of spoon, super mysterious item next, another mysterious solid piece followed by another mystery item…then I saw this interesting bit, non metal almost glass? A Beautiful button and cuff link tack pin, lead button, and finally more buttons!

Hopefully tomoz we are off to a new field, that has Roman villa one end and Roman Field workings the other… the excitement is real 😆 xx

Well the first one reminds me of...

Now there might be a little treasure here.
Not it's silver, but maybe a little spit and tinfoil treatment is in order.

The weight needs a little TLC to pick out the dirt.
Then a proper ID possibility can be had.
The other hollow item very interesting.
You did really well today I would say.
Congrats on the finds.

The Oval Brooch is Roman & missing its domed glass insert.
You have 1 Coin Weight & 1 Trade/Pan Weight.
First item as suggested above is a Medieval Quillion.
The 2 heart Cuff-link is 18th C, but often mis-ID'ed as earlier.
