This was a 6.5 hour solo hunt - Same as the other day, frozen in the morning, soup 2 hours later....
I knew this was going to be a tough day as we have covered both the 2 hotspots in this field, all the rest has been covered but is previously blank. However, as the field has been turned up-side-down, I was hoping that some finds would show is the blank areas. A high risk strategy, but this field throws up the odd Celtic Silver, so I thought it worth the effort. In fact Cru'dad & I will keep nibbling away & cover as much as we can.
I really thought today would be the end of our Silver Streak, but in typical fashion I got a scarce hammered.:laughing7:

3 Scrappies
2 Blank 17th C Tokens
Medieval Horse Harness Pendant Hanger
Medieval Shield Stud (Looks like 2 birds, maybe martlet's either side of the bar) - Not had one in awhile.
Henry II Tealby Penny 1154-89 - Hard coin to find & this is my 2nd this year.8-)
UPDATE on coin:
''Many thanks for these images of your new find, which I have recorded.
This is probably Tealby class F, and the reverse seems to read [ ]RD:ON:GI[ ], in which case this is a coin of the Ipswich moneyer Rodberd. The Ipswich mint seems to have had a relatively large output in class F, which might possibly be connected with a suggested increase in wool exports from East Anglia in the 1170s, paid for in silver that had to be converted into English coins.
With best wishes for 2021''
