Froze my butt off as it was 14 out. But off next today so decided to go hunting after I took a nap. I mostly dug shot gun shells and copper wire. But eyeballed a insulator sticking out of the snow. I soaked it in hot water when I got home and freed it od the dirt and ice. My only other interesting find was a silver plated case. At least it was warmer today. I work out side and temps started 5 below zero this week and warmest day was 20. And we are fracking on top of a hill so wind is nasty. truck keep freezing up.

I like those old insulators ! When I was a kid living in Montana , we used to go out and pick those up (near Helena , Mont.)
Most of the ones I found were green .
