Got my earliest mercury dime to date last night. A 1918 with minimal wear at a one room school house that yielded 11 wheaties and one Indian up until then. Seems wheaties come at about a 10:1 ratio with silver. Lots of wheaties will eventually lead to silver but you all know that

Tonight I got the 64 Rosie at nearly dark at another productive site. So I called it a night after that. What was remarkable was that I got it in an area I have pounded the past two months. The big nail was right next to it in the hole. Just happened to swing my coil over it at the right angle and speed. More proof that a site is never really hunted out but you already know that too

It would be nice to find a silver quarter. It's been a while
