Hello Fellow diggers.

I actually found this a couple months ago in a small, newer park that had only given up modern coins. When I found it, it really didn't strike me as being silver, but I can't remember why. It's been in one of my plastic finds containers in the car since then. Today when i was hunting I opened the box and saw the knife and thought, "that looks like silver, I should probably take a closer look at it." :happysmiley:

I couldn't find any markings indicating it's silver, but it is monogrammed on one side and has a date on the other. Interesting either way.

Thanks for looking.
GL & HH

It's not big, only about 2 1/2 inches.

Looks like stainless steel to me, but I could be wrong.

It may be. That's probably what I assumed it was when I dug it and that's why it's been in the car for a couple months. :laughing7:

I have a test kit around here somewhere. When I find it, I'll see what the acid test indicates.
