I couldn't help myself and get back into the yard that gave me 4 other silvers

11 degrees right now. And under all that snow the ground still isn't frozen


Got another couple wheats and a 43 merc. Once I got the silver I didn't even feel the cold anymore lol

So don't give up just because it's snowing and cold!!

It's starting out that way. After seeing someone post up 453 silvers in one year. It made me change my goals lol

His total just boggles my mind. And he just said he only hunted 52 days!!!
So averaging 9 silver coins a day. That is unbelievable I can't recall seeing anyone post up a 9 or 10 silver day and he does it everyone he's out. I must be hunting the wrong spots lol

You are crazy Turbo. Haha I'm back in the area for school for a few weeks before I move to the Chicago area for work. I haven't been out because of the weather, but I think I'm going to make it out Sunday. Nice finds already for the year!

My metal detectors goes HA HA HA when I try to turn it on when it's under 30 degrees. So great job getting out in that frozen tundra and finding a pretty merc.

You have to get to the areas with higher grass or leaves. The old farm road I have been searching is concrete but the sides of the road where the leaves are is nice and soft

I was over hunting a Fiundation in Elizabeth on Sunday. It was awesome. 60 degrees hunting in short sleeves Got a Rosie and 2 indians

Nice! I'm heading to a foundation in the woods Sunday I am hoping the ground isn't frozen. It will probably be the last time I go out around here for awhile. I get a free flight to come home once a month if I want as part of my job so I may come back in the summer to hit some spots I have researched. HH good luck this year
