Hello everyone. Went out early early this morning before it got to hot for a 3 hour hunt. Hit a 1900 house that I have been to before and came away with a beautiful looking sterling ring. The pictures don’t do it justice and I’ve only cleaned it with soap and water. I’m not sure what the “18” stands for on the other ring. Also came away with a 18 something something V nickle and 5 wheats 14,35,41,42d,53

Really nice sterling ring. I dig a lot of them and some are really beautiful.

Beautiful ring, Bad Knees Bob... there ain't nuttin' like shiny in the hole. That should polish up nicely...Ddf.

a great thing to see in the dirt and it's not junk too!

Beautiful ring! :occasion14:

Years ago I found a ring just like yours with the 18 on it. They were cheap fakes. They would take a brass or bronze ring, add the stamp and gold plate it so it would seem to be an 18k gold ring.

Nice finds! A lot better than I did.

Thats a really cool ring love finding jewelry good job cool coins to.

Neat ring but I'm more interested in the heal plate. I've seen clover leaf and heart cut outs but never one like yours. Different. Gary

Although I believe the 18 ring is most likely not gold from you picture, be careful; I have dug old rings that I would have sworn were counterfeit, but were in fact real. Gold may not tarnish, but the alloys do.
