Stumbled upon a nice shed while mushroom hunting @

Found this today while looking for morels, it was about 10' away from the one Willow found a few days back. I'm thinking it's from same buck, base is identical in size but rack doesn't match up! What do ya think?

Most likely from the same buck since they were found so close to each other. Racks won't be identical in a Non-Typical Whitetail.

Nice rack they look like from the same buck very similar form. But forget the rack where are the morels? Under hunting, seeking, foraging, looking for, I would think that would be Today's Find in the spirit of metal detecting it would seem. Of course if you did get a hit with your metal detector on a morel I wouldn't eat it. Nice find in the woods.

I’ve been out but haven’t found one yet. We’re primed with good rain and it will be 80 this week. April 23, give or take a day or two, is the traditional day we find them here. Watch the dandelions. You need to see all 3 stages. Flowers, puff balls, and bare stems after fuzz is gone.
