I guess but what do you do about snow? Or do you get any?

Here in Arkansas, its not uncommon to get a few accumulations of snow during the winter. Anything over 6", which is pretty rare, is considered a blizzard. Its rare for the ground to be so frozen that digging is impossible, and when that does happen it usually doesn't last very long. I would guess the "average" winter day here is about 45 degrees during the day and a little below freezing at night.

I'm in s. Michigan, we don't get much snow anymore, I've detected almost every month throughout the winter the last few years.

I had one like that. I'm pretty sure the readed edge was worn "outward" which gave the sliced appearance. Thats what it appeared to be on mine at least.
