There is one poster out there that will really like this one.

No, not because of a huge, banner type find. Quite the contrary.

But, you see this particular poster knows how I've been working all this long winter to get something back I used to have as an option.

I used to be a pretty regular water hunter as well. Long, long ago! I tried to add a new option to where I hunt because I knew my options were
limited. So, I tried to get into hunting cornfields. It's just not me.

Anyway, all winter long I've been rebuilding my equipment in order to get wet again. Today, I took it all over to a local swimming hole for a final
testing. I only hunted for 2 hours. The stream is fast moving so I didn't really expect much in the way of finds. Just wanted to see if I had
a viable set of equipment to do water hunting again.

And....as luck would have it, "as I was moving back to the shore in order to leave".... I found the bling.

Just bling, but oh how fitting!!!! LOL





The poster will know who he is....he has been a great help in getting me
back the option of hunting the water.

Anyway, you're the poster I referred to, without your help and encouragement, I probably wouldn't have even tried again.

Don't any of you professional pirates fret any, this "pirate's" water hunting will only be a change of pace, now and then.

I know. I have a lot of fond memories. But, one thing I have realized is that each type of hunting in this hobby is what makes it so great.
The water, the fields, the parks,houses,schools,churches,bottle digging, cellar hole digging, on and on and on, ad-infinitum.

I've done just about all of them in my "career". The water was one of my faves but, I always hated what the water did to silver coins.
And, coins are my main thing. Finding them, that is.

Maybe we can wet a scoop or dirty a shovel together one day!

Well, I appreciate the thought. But, I just post to share. Water, Land, and if I can figure out a way, the Air. LOL

No requirement to gawk, but look at your leisure.
