Found this pin from the first world war. The person wore this had tree sons in the war. No pin on the back but it has PAT NOV 6 1917 on it.

cool find. Like so many others, my Grandmother was unfortunately a 'Gold Star' mother during WW2, with the news of her son's death (my Mom's brother) showing up at her door just as they were sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner in 1943.
