Okay, a little background. Location 2 has belonged to the same family since the home was built. So they know what's on the property utility wise.

On to the story. I was swinging away with the Manticore. I hit a target that almost blew my ears off. It was loud. Showed about 3 inches deep. I was digging and hit iron about 3 inches. So about 2 1/2 feet wide later I noticed letters on the iron.

We have no underground electric service in this area of our township. The property owner was shocked. I examined the lid and discovered there was nothing but dirt under it. After an hour we decided to pull it up. Turns out the home owners father, who worked at the power company, had placed the lid over a water valve to protect it from anyone digging. So we placed it back over the valve and covered it up

Part 2 will come tomorrow after I get everything together. Nothing great, but worth showing.

Thanks for looking...
