Treasure's Galore!!

Here are some of the many treasures unearthed during my last permission hunt..............



I was especially intrigued with the metal clothes pins, the old canteen stopper and the copper buckles (?)......and the lead sinker seems odd, but I'm not a fisherman. There were several more gears to the fine timepiece, the toy harmonica is too full of dirt to carry a tune and the toy vehicles have been played with hard!! I pulled $1.15 out today in an hour, with the only notable find a '53 wheat......the oldest wheat of the 25 that came from this permission was 1910. I'll re-hunt this property in the spring with the Vaquero.......

Dude !! That looks like the SR-71 black bird. Only its red not black. My 4 year old son would love that thing.

By copper buckles are you referring to the clock items? I bet the gears were in the same hole as those 2 pieces. Looks like there are plenty of targets there to keep ya busy there Chizzy. Nice to see your still digging. My next hunt is coming up Friday morning.

I really don't know, bart. There are no identifying markings. The only thing I am sure of is that my grandson will love it, too........sorry...........

You are right on target, Loco-Digger.......they were in the same hole. I wasn't sure what they were........I need more schooling!!

You may be right........
I found them in different locations underneath the area where the clothes lines were.......and found several examples with identical designs on the interweb..........

If the lead sinker your referring to is below the keys, looks like slip sinker for worm fishing. Rubber worms and plastics that is.
