Finds from the last 2 days. Wife was with me yesterday. I went alone today. Run off 1st site with the arrival of the "honey wagon". Got the worn KGIII and a button before though. 2nd place got more butt then came the honey wagon there too. Ugh.

Dug 2 leather ornamentals, buttons, buckle pieces, a KGII etc. Looks like the end of a pair of sugar nippers? The latten spoon is busted but I got the mark which is clearly a heart over two Gs. Found the mark in a reference book provided by Bill D. The large and thick tobacco trade weight is cool.

The 1806 half cent came yesterday along with a couple indians and a bunch of relics and smashed silver thimble. Wife got a holed KG 1/2d too.

Rough looking stuff I know. But nice to swing and it was actually nice and warm for 2 days in a row!

Love those markings on the latten spoons. Too bad the records for those were destroyed or it would help to really narrow down the dates of manufacture. But I guess 1650-1700 is close enough. Nice bunch of finds Gary.

Lucky I got the mark. Could have gotten the other side just as easily.
