TWO CAROLUS III COINS FROM SAME SITE, 1880'sTEMPERANCE TOKEN + MORE!

Well, got out yesterday and found some relics from one of my small soy bean fields that keeps producing some great relics. On November 7, I went out for 2 hours and found 6 flat buttons and one Carolus (Charles) III 1781 Spanish Coin. Yesterday, I pulled another Carolus III about 50 yards or so from the other last week. I am on a ball button streak also. I have gotten 4 in the past 2 weeks.

On November 13 I pulled a bent, but never-the-less, Virginia Button Canfield Bros & Co. Baltimore Backmark! Awesome stuff! A lot of mixed goodies to go along with it.

Also, a different type of token. A temperance token for the 1880's. Enjoy the pictures of a lot of different relics found that span from the 1700's-1900's. All found with my XP Deus! Thanks and HH and go over to my Facebook Page--Mid Atlantic Relic & Coin Hunters--we are getting ready to have a contest to give away a Garrett Ace 100 and a Garrett Pro-pinpointer. YOUTUBE--Video's up--Wes-N-VA!!!!!

Nice to see someone finally find the good stuff in Virginia, lol. It's such a target-scarce state. All kidding aside, you have found a myriad of relics/coins we'd all love to have. Wish you much success on your return.

Nice stuff Wes, and good job on the silver. I initially thought that buckle was a 17th century trapezoidal, but now I believe its much later. Can you post a pic taken from the front?

Nice stuff Wes - you are lucky to hunt winter wheat...most of our sites were planted directly with it and our farmers won't allow us to hunt it :(

Nice finds as usual man, keep it up!

I know the feeling as I to have slammer sites that got turned to wheat within 2 days of the beans coming out. One of the quickest turn arounds I have seen in a while and the landowner says YES, but the farmer says NO! The sad thing is, you can not kill the stuff. I can dig 500 holes and come April you will never know I was there lol. Sad, wait all season for the sites to open and to have it close in the same week. Depressing! Overall, I am lucky to hunt areas where the farmers realize that we can not hurt the crop once it takes root. Thanks again for the comments!

Nice finds Wes. Good variety of quality relics. Too bad about your Canfield VA, however still an excellent recovery.

That looks like a great hunt! Too bad the Virginia button is bent, but its still awesome. I hope you find more like that on your next trip to the site.
