Good question. Someone with power I'd guess. Hard to believe a large group would ask for something that specific.

The 4 and 5k frequencies might have mixed badly in the sidebands. The engineering might not have been worth the effort. Harmonic frequencies can be a pest. I'm just guessing.

That dose make a lot of sense , I didn’t think about that. The program is based on Algorithms.

I think the 4khz would be used for more trashy signals and that would mess up your multi frequencies

I suspect they do that as an extra treat for the engineers who sit back quietly and read the forums and chuckle at all the speculation and claims for features the update had nothing to do with.

Yeah, I think they may even give us a placebo update next time just to see what everybody says about the "improvements".
