I don't know at all. I never ask him about it, that is his business. But I am guessing he is busy or burned out on being our great technical adviser, or who knows. I am sure smokey knows. Over on friendly mudpuppy kind of disappeared and he was so funny. Someone said his new hobby is HAM radio. I can understand that, only some much time for time consuming hobbies.

No, its not ham radio. Still detecting.
no smokey, I was referring to mudpuppy over on friendly metal detecting. Mudpuppy switch to HAM radio (I heard from others) not vferrari. I have not discussed with vferrari anything but technical issues with my 800 or my detecting methods. I really don't know vferrari personally, but do know he is a nice guy and a wealth of knowledge and never speculates, he talks about what he knows is an actual fact. Kind of rare today, especially on forums where lots of people like to speculate.
