Got out for the second week in a row! I met Bill D. down in his hood and we hit a nice site which spans multiple centuries. Started a little slow but we eventually got into a rhythm. I pulled out a handful of buttons, a toasted VA Halfpenny, a really cool silver pendant with a monogram E on it and other cool relics. Thanks for the invite Bill.

You were right Joey - that was a halfpenny even though it could pass for a thick button. Had fun - hope we can do it again before the end of the season.

The large copper was a button. The Halfpenny was found on the way to the truck

Me too. It's starting to get too warm for detecting for me though. Over 70 and I sweat like a man beast. Maybe I can get into water hunting...I can show off my flabby man boobs.

Nice digs Joey, the copper is a nice find regardless of condition. Hope you are able to get out again soon.

So that's why you were stopping to dig while we were almost back at the truck. I thought that area was almost totally devoid of signals, but guess it needs another recheck.
