This image is from some of the finds saved from a cellar hole in Waldoboro, ME. I still remember the first time visiting there and finding mostly wheat pennies and a flat button. Persistence is key and eventually many more items revealed themselves. Lots of interesting buttons and shoe buckle parts. I have not been able to find a complete shoe buckle yet but the one pictured on the left was very close. Who knows maybe in a few more visits....
