We are on a mission!!

Damnails and I assaulted my yard this afternoon in search of the other half of my Civil War wreath and tongue buckle. We focused on a small section of the yard where I found the other half yesterday and begin to remove as much of the iron as we could. We realize this will be a work in progress but are focused on finding the other half. We only got to hunt for a little over two hours but managed to remove quite a bit of stuff.


We dug a lot of trash but here are some of the better relics that we saved. My best find of the afternoon was this swivel top Stirrup which we think is pretty old and Damnails found a nice Tomback flat button.




We found a few other goodies to include some leather rivets and a couple pewter spoons.
This is just the beginning so this will "be continued". Thanks for looking.
