Well, what I thought was never going to happen, happened to me today.

Today was my largest hunt in one sitting. I hunted 22 boxes of halves today, and every single one was a big ****ing SKUNK. Nothing, zero, zip. I am now on a 27 box skunk streak with the ones I hunted from last Friday. This has never happened to me before and I hope it is just a bad string of boxes.

I hope you find something soon! I have only hunted 4 boxes of halves and only found 1 40%er. I know I get discouraged after 2 empty boxes. . Wishing you luck!!!!

Did it eventually turn around? What were the results like once it ended?

Well. Got about 5 40%ers. Then about 10 more skunks. Then got 1 90%er. A few more skunks.

sorry to hear, now you know how I feel!!! I am on 18 box skunk streak, my order did not come in this week, so the boxes I would have picked up on monday would have been solid silver boxes, right?

Every time I cut back on boxes, I tend to get a bunch of silver. Last week I did ok with halves. This week not so well.

Dimes are just a time killer. Toss them in the coin muncher and let it eat the clad.

Wish I would have found this hobby 10 years ago.

Some times i get alot of skunks and the only thing that gets me the count is the large # of boxes i do!! it will come around!!

i'm on 14 box skunk streak..picking up 3 boxes now from a bank i always get skunked i'm keeping my hopes high..can't let skunk boxes discourage me..i'll have my monster box one day..

Agreed. It would have been very difficult not quitting after that.

Thats rough. I find that batches of coin vary from week to week. One week I did 18 boxes and had only 5 coins to show from it, the next week I pulled 5 OZ of silver. Give it a few weeks and you will know how bad the dry spell will be.

My jaw was to floor because there was not even one or two stragglers! I'm about to go pick up five more boxes here shortly, I'll let you know if I hit AG or continue on with a 32 box streak.
