Greetings All,

Well, I became a Minelab Owner finally! The UPS Guy dropped off two packages.
The first was my brand new Minelab Exalibur II with extra NiMH battery - bought
from Wayne at Metal Detecting Stuff. The 2nd was a nice, new Anderson CF Long
Shaft picked up from the Gold Digger. (They were out-of-stock from Wayne & Others).

Both merchants shipped fast and well-packaged. I also received yesterday another
package from Wayne with the Excaliber Intelligent Charger & 2 books by Gary Drayton.
I already had the Pro User's Guide off Amazon.

I know a quiet little nook not far off that gives up the rare CW Minie Ball as well as some clad.
Also a fair amount of iron in the soil (19th cent nails, wire, etc.). So while it's no beach it should
be a good enough "test garden" to start learning my tones, nulls, and such. And you never know,..
Maybe the Confederate Gold is just waiting for me to find it!:icon_thumright:

I sincerely hope everyone accepts my thanks for the support and advice given so far,

Andrew
