"The reverse side is rusty, and concave, maybe like these were mounted."There's no dates on the reverse side?
They're Dutch coins featuring Queen Wilhemina. She was on different coins and you don't show a reference so I can't say what the denomination is. Most were mid 1920s through 1940s. Likely has some silver content.
"A spanish american war camp was nearby.""The reverse side is rusty, and concave, maybe like these were mounted."
The painting was given to me by my dear mother and she said it was sold to her at an antique shop having once been in a Monastery. Possibly it is a print with a very nice frame. The print on right I bought recently at an estate sale. Does anyone have any general knowledge to share about these? The print is on thick cardboard like material.
