Can't do much digging around here right now with temps below zero. And snow on the ground. But. As I was getting change at the gas station last night I noticed all the pennies where wheaties. I asked the cashier if someone paid with some wheats. and he said yeah. A few rolls worth. I traded cash for the rolls. Only 4 modern cents in the 4 rolls. And only a hand full earlier than the 40s. And nothing really of value. But was nice to sort through 4 solid rolls

Thats great! I keep all my wheats regardless of value. Good find.

A chance not taken is a wasted opportunity

I never thought he would have a few rolls when I asked. His penny tray in the register was full of wheats also. But the store was busy. And they were mixed with modern stuff and wasn't going to make the port kid sort through and count them lol
