why dont all the halves come rolled in plastic now like all the other coins do?

I understand that, but you would think that some of the halves would be plastic as well....has anyone ever seen any rolled in plastic?!

I hate the plastic wraps and am glad halves are not in them

delta 4000 / ace 250 - used BH and many others too
their weight most likely I would think would stretch out the plastic thus making them useless for halves -- the other coins are not as large and heavy as halves --or maybe the plastic roll folks most likely also do not want to "gear up" to make plastic rolls for halves as they are not such a large market --since halves are not commonly used like quarters ,dimes, nickles and cents are.

Yes. Someone in my area was too lazy to ask the bank for wrappers for their half dollars that they were dumping and wrapped them up in Saran wrap and taped them shut with packing tape.

I was not happy.

I wasn't laughing having to find wrappers for $3k in some lazy CRHer's dump.

I wasn't going to take them, but they are one of my better pick up banks and I wasn't going to dump them on my dump bank like that; they'd never let me bring any more in.
