Wife finds first silver!

My wife and I have been detecting for about a year and are really hooked on this hobby. We have found lots of clad,a few wheaties, and two nice old buffs along with some jewelry and various cool stuff. We get out as much as we can (weather permitting) but have yet to find a silver coin...until today. It has been raining here for several days but we got a break today and went to an old dirt parking lot area near a shopping center i remember as a child. There was so much trash we almost moved on and then she hit a strong 90 and found this franklin half ! Not really old or rare but very special to us.

The Franklin half isn't that common of a dug silver so you got what a lot of us won't see.

Outstanding! I found my first silver about 20 years ago, but remember the excitement like it was yesterday. Keep hunting, there's more where that came from!

Yeah any coin silver 25 cents on up is hard to get lately for me, also still searching for my first "Benny" here. Thats a great first silver on that Twig and wife !!
