It would be my first detector! Is it worth the $180?

Yea, I'v had it for a week and half now. Been to the beach 7 times between 1-3 hours each trip. So far, I'v found 3.51 in clad and a Saint Jude emblem off a neckless (might have been plated at one time, lol) nothing good yet. Really like the detector, hits really deep on coins and i'm able to turn my disc up to 3 with out missing out on gold rings but I need a salt water machine, saving for the Sand Shark.

Thanks for the reply

Well congratulations on your new detector. I know that if you keep it up you might just find the "gold" needed to buy a sand shark without taking one cent out of your poket.
