It´s actually a Messerschmitt Bf 109, the iconical German propeller driven Fighter from WWII, not a jet Mr. CNN.
He will not get military honours due to the history thing: Germany distances itself from all things Nazi by lightyears.
However, if family still exists, they got a right to the remains and the boy can go home after 70 years.
If no family exists or if the deny (hard to swallow, but nobody may have a living memory on him and may spent two months wages) the remains will be taken over by the Kriegsgräberfürsorge (a foundation for burial of war remains and upkeep of war cemetaries). Also in this case he gets a burial according to his religion and a name.
