WW II Japanese Submarine Found Off Hawaii

A giant (carried three folded-wing bombers!) WW II Japanese submarine has been found in deep water off Hawaii.

Apparently the US government sunk it to avoid returning it to Japan and running the risk that the Soviet Union could obtain the technology.
