Zowie! 2 solid *double* rolls!

Just when I was starting to get discouraged with CRH, I went to a bunch of nearby banks to get some CWRs.

Not many halves to be found, so I wound up getting a bunch of dimes (which I haven't checked through yet).

But the halves that I found? WOW. I got five double ($20) rolls from one bank. The first roll was skunk. But the second one, I could see the reverse side of a Walking Liberty on the end as I opened it!

Sure enough, a SOLID roll of halves. Almost all were 90% silver.

Roll #3 had one or two 40%ers mixed in. But then roll #4, another SOLID silver roll. Roll 5, well, a couple more 40% mixed in.

Overall: 3 Walkers, 17 Bens, 57 '64 Kens, and 7 40%ers.

WOW wow wow. Think of how I managed to save those coins from being hauled away!

The silver is still out there.

I think it was a chain, but I am not positive! I have been wracking my brain trying to remember which bank it was that I got these rolls from. I went to quite a few that day, and I know it was one of the earlier banks I visited. Chances are good it was one of the big banks, but it might have been a credit union.
