...from the casino was a [red]1919[/red].
Didn't even need Nic-a-Date this time.
Funny how numbers coincide. Last week I found my 400th wartime silver nickel. Well, I keep track of each Buffalo too and this is my 40th since 11/25/99, so if you're curious how long it takes to build a roll from circulation, figure on 9 years! I imagine for some super searchers (GMan, kestrelia) it's probably quicker.
Here's my all-time date list of Buffalos over the years:
1913-D (Ty 1)
1913 (Ty 2)
1914
1915
1916
1917
1917-S
1919
1920
1920-S
1923
1924
1925-S
1926
1926-D
1926-S (my first CRH find with a mintage under 1 million)
1927
1928
1929
1929-S
1930
1930-S
1934
1935
1935-D
1936
1936-D
1936-S
1937
So 29 out of a possible 64. I'd like to make it to 32 which would be 50% of the series. 1913 (Ty 1), 1918 and 1925 all have mintages over 30 mil so it seems they're the best bet at reaching 32 varieties.
Gotta keep at it!
