First full year folks! The numbers look much nicer than my 'year's finds for 2017, if I do say so myself. Such a huge difference between now and the measly 10 penny boxes I did last year. Obviously the two years aren't even really comparable numbers-wise, so I won't do too much of that this year.
Already looking forward to a spectacular 2019!
85 boxes of pennies (212,500 pennies, $2125 searched):
(lifetime: 96 boxes, 240,000 pennies, $2400)
Copper Culled: 29,382 (13,82% or about 1 per 7 coins) (lifetime: 32,480)
A slightly better percentage/rate than last year.
Wheaties Harvested: 955 (1010 lifetime) (about one per 222, or ~11 per box
Wheaties worst box: 0, Wheaties best box: 179
Notables: 1910, 1911, 1912, 1916, 1917
Obviously a far higher percentage than last year, mainly due to two dream boxes(179, 101) and one near-dream box(73) (which combined accounted for over 35% of all 2018 wheats)
Indian Heads Gathered: 0 (1 lifetime)
Unfortunately, not a single Indian from boxes this year.
Canadian Leaves Raked: 585 (658 lifetime) (About 1 per 363 coins or ~7 per box)
Canadians worst box: 0, Canadians best box: 24
Notables: 1940, 1943, 1945, 1950, 1951, 1953
Other notables included Two plastic game pieces marked 'copy', a handful of foreign non-canadian coins (1989 Bahamas, 2002 China, 1980 Swiss, 2001 Panama) as well as a scattering of CUDs, clips, and counterstruck.
A few charts for the interested (they're lifetime charts since 2017 was only a few months, but the start of 2018 is marked.):

(Wheaties and Canadians)

My main focus for the entire year was pennies, but I did get two nickel boxes and the occasional dime and quarter rolls when the opportunity would pop up.
100 rolls of nickels (4000 nickels, $200)
100 2004 (one per 40)
110 2005 (one per 36)
1 2009 (one per 4000)
36 pre-1960 (one per 111)
3 war nickels/silver (about one per 1333)
five foreign: a 5 cent euro, 2015 twenty pence, 3 canadians
Dimes and Quarters
dimes: 112 rolls (5,600 dimes)
6 Canadian
3 silver
quarters: 45 rolls (1,800 quarters)
1 Canadian
0 silver
As much as I'd like to snap some pictures of the entire hoard from 2018, they've all ended up mixed with inheritance coins and such, so it would really just be pictures of 'all my stuff'.
For 2019, I'll likely continue mainly hunting cents, possibly branching into more nickels at some point.
As far as goals, my current "record" for Indian head cents is one in 2017, zero in 2018. 2+ in 2019, perhaps?
I'd also very much like to get my hands on my first silver quarter from a roll.
The current wheatie record stands at 179, beating that this year would be a good day indeed.
We just barely missed 1,000 Wheaties in 2018, I'd love to hit that mark for 2019.
All in all, I consider 2018 a spectacular year and hope to have many more like it.
Best of luck to all in 2019!
