I gotcha...I got the next two days off so I plan on making my attempt at it then. Oh yeah, I love 'shroom huntin! My favorite are the white and gray morels. The yellow ones are good too. They can get huge though!! The morel that my son has in that pic was his first and we ended up filling a walmart sack full with only about 20 mushroom...that tells you how big they were!
I'll let you know how it goes on the splicing.

I was actually kind of curious what the wires looked like when there cleaned and ready to splice! I know that wires such as earbud wires or smaller than telephone wires can prove tough to splice and work properly, but if the wires are say 12ga. Or bigger I don't see why you couldn't. But I don't know how many or what gauge wires coils have? By the way I see you partake in the yearly morel hunt in' . I never find too many, twenty to thirty usually , but man do I love the morel huntin' and eatin'!! If you end up splicing it let me know how it works for you!!
